Next was the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument Painted Hills Unit. Painted Hills are amazing. Different layers of sediment that are different colors worn down by nature that 'appear' to be painted:

The final stop was the Clyde Holliday State Recreation Site, where I would spend the night camping.Very peaceful. If I had read the link carefully I could have gotten a bike spot with electricity and water, but instead if reserved a full 40' camper spot. But it worked out for me even though it was a little more expensive.
