Motorcycle ride along the Columbia River from Fruitland, WA to Revelstoke Canada 2022-09-06

The Invisibilia podcast discussed Norwegian 'Slow TV'. I decided to make this entire trip all Slow TV videos. This video is the ride for the entire day.

I left early in the morning headed north for the Canadian border. The ArriveCAN app is AMAZING. I strongly suggest that you go through the process to get logged in, registered BEFORE you cross the border.

I always look for nice places to stop, here is a view of Columbia River, with a classic shot my motorcycle. Starting to see trees and more greenery:

Continuing to head north I arrived at the Boundary Border. I stopped at the border to take more pictures of the Columbia River:

'Do not harass the toadlets' at Summit Lake Rest Area. I was amused but there is information at the rest area about how these toadlets really are endangered:

The ferry system in Canada is free except for the coastal ferries (I.e. Vancouver Island). Be SURE to check the schedule before you show up to avoid waiting a day for the next ferry. I crossed at Upper Arrow Lake:

And finally a MAJOR reason to go to Canada. Poutine. 'Nuff said:
